Maintenance Supervisor

We are currently hiring 1 x Maintenance Engineer

Main Duties

• Carrying out regular inspections and managing maintenance of all equipment and machines, including the service schedule.
• Liaising with production to agree maintenance windows.
• Overseeing operator maintenance.
• Undertaking reactive maintenance.
• Adhering to the 5S system and standards.
• Controlling inventory levels for spare parts and machine consumables, including consignment stock.
• Liaising with machine suppliers to rectify issues.
• Ensuring that all maintenance records (digital and paperwork) are kept up to date.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities.

Skills and experience

• You must have a background in maintaining CNC machinery.
• You must have a hands on, can do attitude to maintenance.
• At least 5 years proven experience.
• Good IT literacy.

CNC Offline Programmer

We are currently hiring a CNC Offline Programmer.

You will be tasked with creating a production method to be given to the shopfloor for machining.

This will include:

• Providing NC programs created using Hypermill
• Designing work holding or fixturing
• Appropriate tooling information and/or order specific tooling if necessary
• Setup sheets with datum information

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• You must be coming from a strong CNC background with 7 years minimum programming experience
• You must be able to read drawings and have an understanding of critical features and basic GD&T.

Desirable:

• Experience using offline software (Hypermill, FeatureCam, MasterCam or similar)
• Experience working in fast-moving, quality-focused technical environments (e.g. automotive, F1 motorsport or aerospace)
• Working in a similar role within an engineering production environment
• Working independently on high value/high accuracy machined projects
• Knowledge of tooling and how to use them in an efficient manner
• Experience in creating your own fixturing and work holding

• Experience working in a fast paced, quality focused, technical environment (e.g. automotive, F1 motorsport or aerospace)
