Expanded programming team

At Trinity Precision Engineering we have a reputation for producing complex geometry parts to high specification finishes. As you can imagine, the more complex a part is, the more complex the machining operations required to deliver the product.

We’re pleased to announce that we have invested in training for our staff, as part of an ongoing programme. Whilst many have had programming training, two staff members have moved permanently into programming roles, having proven themselves on the shop floor.

At Trinity we operate several highly recognised software including HyperMill by OpenMind. This has led to the investment in Virtual Machine, a bolt on for HyperMill, which allows for the optimisation of tool paths dramatically reducing cycle times allowing for greater production flexibility.

Our Lead Manufacturing Engineering has overseen the training and development, as he explains:

“This is an important change for Trinity. Our customer’s technical needs are ever increasing as they in turn push the performance of their designs. Every increase means that we need to be one step ahead in order to fulfil their requirements. In fact, it’s not just the complex work that benefits from our investments in training and software. Even simpler components can be made more efficiently through the utilisation of improved manufacturing techniques. It’s great that the company continues to grow talent from within the business and that we are expanding the team to handle the growing customer base and order book.”
